1) How do I apply for the Crash Damage Replacement Service?

If your smart cycling helmet has been damaged in a riding-related accident, you may apply for our Crash Replacement Service by following the requirements and steps below.


I. Eligibility Requirements #

  1. Purchase channel & time limit
    The helmet must have been purchased through official channels (our official website or authorized distributors), and the application must be submitted within one (1) year from the original purchase date. Applications submitted after this period will not be accepted.
  2. Eligible damage scenarios
    The helmet damage must result from an accidental impact related to cycling.
    Damage caused by intentional actions, improper use, improper storage, aging, or non-accident-related reasons is not covered by this service.
  3. Required documentation
    A complete application must include an accident description, evidence of the damaged helmet, proof of purchase, and the helmet serial number. Applications with incomplete information will not pass review.
  4. Service limitations
    • Each helmet is eligible for one (1) crash replacement only.
    • Replacement is limited to the same smart helmet model. If the same model is unavailable, a similar model of comparable value will be offered.

II. Crash Replacement Application Process #

1. Submit your application #

Please email our official after-sales support at support@linked-safe.com.
Use the subject line exactly as follows:
“Crash Replacement + Order Number + Helmet Serial Number”

Include the following information in the email body and attachments:

  1. Personal information
    Full name, contact phone number, detailed shipping address, and preferred email address.
  2. Accident details
    Date, location, and a brief description of the accident (including the cause and collision scenario).
  3. Helmet information
    Helmet model, size, color, purchase date, and the serial number (S/N) shown on the white label inside the helmet.
  4. Supporting documents
    • Clear photos or videos of the damaged helmet from multiple angles (including overall views and close-ups of the impact area)
    • Close-up photo of the helmet serial number label
    • Proof of purchase (order screenshot, receipt, or invoice)

2. Review & approval #

Our after-sales team will complete the review within 3–5 business days.
If approved, you will receive an email containing:

  1. A crash replacement discount code (for use on our official website)
  2. Detailed instructions on how to place the replacement order
  3. If required, the return address and shipping requirements for sending back the damaged helmet

If the application is rejected, the email will clearly explain the reason (such as non-accident-related damage or incomplete information).


3. Complete the replacement purchase #

Follow the instructions in the approval email and place an order on our official store using the provided discount code to purchase the same or approved alternative helmet at a special crash replacement price.

  • Shipping costs for the replacement helmet are covered by us.
  • If return of the damaged helmet is required, please send it back first as instructed. Once our warehouse confirms receipt, your replacement order will be prioritized for shipment.

III. Important Notes #

  1. Helmets replaced under the crash replacement service come with a full standard warranty, calculated from the shipment date of the replacement order.
  2. For international orders, customers are responsible for the international return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties for the damaged helmet. We will cover the international shipping cost for the replacement helmet.
  3. The discount code is valid for 30 days from the approval date. Please complete your order within this period. Expired codes require a new application.
  4. Even if the helmet shows only minor external damage after an accident, replacement is still strongly recommended, as the internal energy-absorbing foam may have been compromised and may no longer provide adequate protection for future rides.
